Hotel Transylvania 2 spooks audiences

October is known for Halloween, with vampires, ghosts, mummies and zombies. The sequel to Hotel Transylvania showed just the right amount of spooks. Saying this, Hotel Transylvania 2 came out just in time.

Dracula (played by Adam Sandler), wants his grandson, Dennis (played by Asher Blinkoff) to be a monster just like his whole family. Dennis is half-human and half-vampire but since he doesn’t have fangs, Dracula doesn’t believe he’s a real monster. Mavis (played by Selena Gomez) is Dracula’s daughter and the mother of Dennis. Mavis doesn’t care if Dennis is a monster, human, or both. She just cares that he’s happy.

“I went to watch the movie because of Selena Gomez and Adam Sandler, they’re both really good actors,” sophomore Joanna Li said.

The actors in this movie have a lot of emotion in the tone of their voices. By just listening to the sad voices in the movie, it fills the viewers with a ton of emotion, letting them feel what the movie is trying to show. Since the voice actors are well-known among everyone, that helps draw more people in to see this movie.

“It was good. It had a nice message and good animation,” junior Sophie Chianese said.

Although there were sad parts in this movie, many people still believe that this is a great movie, that shows a lot of comedy and brings a great audience.This movie was one of the top movies to watch, even though it wasn’t a thriller or horror movie, this movie still relates to Halloween, with vampires, zombies, ghosts, mummies, and a cute little boy.
