Rock out with 5 Seconds of Summer
On September 1 and 2 the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer played two shows at the Jones Beach Theater. These shows were a stop on their Rock Out With Your Socks Tour. To many of there fans this was the best way to end their summer vacation before having to return to school.

The Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer has been taking the world by storm. As a result, it was no surprise that the 5SOS fam (their fandom) went crazy when the band made a stop in New York on their tour.
On September 2, the bands Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour made a second stop at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY. The band also played a show there on September 1st.
All night long the band was making jokes, the crowd was cheering, singing along, and dancing to every song that the band performed. Some of the songs the band played included older songs like “She Looks So Perfect”, “Amnesia”, “End Up Here”, and “Don’t Stop” but also included two new songs “She’s Kinda Hot” and “Jet Black Heart”.
“It was really exciting to be there, everyone was happy and it was really fun,” sophomore Julia Maldonado said.
All in all the night was a high energy night. The band put on a good show and allowed their fans to end their summer on a high note.
