Rumors and Speculation are a part of every technology company, but seems too frequent for Apple. People have already been talking and waiting for Apple to announce their “One more thing” announcement. A lot of people have been talking about the Apple Car, the Apple TV (not to be confused with its current product) and the future of Apple Watch. Apple targets the average consumer, so it is not surprising that people already started to speculate.

Apple should reinvent the school education system. This sounds vague and insane, but Apple should reinvent the technology for school usage. This is called a hobby, where the idea isn’t all there to be called a new product, but instead a hobby. As an example, textbooks are far beyond old, and if an error occurs, the company can’t go back and change a fact! It is already written.

“I don’t think digitizing of textbooks is a great idea, I think that as it is we’re gonna see a lot more people with glasses because of eye fatigue and eyestrain staring constantly at computers, tablets and phones. I am not a huge fan because we see in school systems when the wifi goes down, we can’t use a lot of our resources,” IEP teacher Mr. Petrotta said.

Apple should create an ecosystem of apps that work with textbooks, as such we read on an iPad, and the book can get updated every “x” amount of years which causes no error, more simplicity, and ultimate satisfaction. iBooks is not the solution, but a different category created for personal books. This would drive iPad sales higher than ever, with more support for changing the world, which Steve Jobs always committed toward.

As for a new product, people would love to see a car. Apple always committed to building new ways of usage towards things that people don’t expect . Apple Car has been in rumours and according to the co- founder, Steve Wozniak, it isn’t a bad idea at all. This can be very interesting since Apple can start using their integrated carplay inside, with the big change of no gasoline inside of a car.

This can open many areas of interest since the car becomes a portable device wherever a person goes. Phone calls, messages, siri and most importantly a better experience.

“If there was an Apple Car, my hope would be that.. voice commands are clear and recognizable. Reading of texts messages, the ability to reply using voice dictation without any distraction,” IEP Mr. Petrotta said.

A couple ideas for the Apple Car would be the use of turning it on via the Apple Watch. It is quick and disregards the need of a key. Apple Car can have a location in Find my Car (app) that can be tracked via iPhone or Apple Watch when parked in a very crowded area. The last suggestion seems like science fiction, but what if the car has a camera that can recognize the owner’s face or any other member that will automatically set the car preference toward the person’s liking. Height, weight, automatic or stick, and even as small as radio favorites. This can allow personalization at a new level, with the same feeling as being in a regular car.

“It seems interesting.. I need to see it to really understand the vision Apple is trying to make,” junior Daniel Kricheli said.

People would love the idea of changing education for the better and building a needed device for everyday life. Apple throws punches toward hard problems, but always comes up with the best solution.
